Modelling uncertainty can significantly affect the structural seismic reliability assessment. However, the limit state excursion due to this type of uncertainty may not be described by a Poisson process as it lacks renewal properties with the occurrence of each earthquake event. Furthermore, considering uncertainties related to ground motion representation by employing recorded ground motions together with modelling uncertainties is not a trivial task. Robust fragility assessment, proposed previously by the authors, employs the structural response to recorded ground motion as data in order to update prescribed seismic fragility models. Robust fragility can be extremely efficient for considering also the structural modelling uncertainties by creating a dataset of one-to-one assignments of structural model realizations and as-recorded ground motions. This can reduce the computational effort by more than 1 order of magnitude. However, it should be kept in mind that the fragility concept itself is based on the underlying assumption of Poisson-type renewal. Using the concept of updated robust reliability, considering both the uncertainty in ground motion representation based on as-recorded ground motion and non ergodic modelling uncertainties, the error introduced through structural reliability assessment by using the robust fragility is quantified. It is shown through specific application to an existing RC frame that this error is quite small when the product of the time interval and the standard deviation of failure rate is small and is on the conservative side. 相似文献

高轴压比钢管混凝土墩柱的试验结果对钢管混凝土拱肋具有较大的借鉴意义。为明确大跨度钢管混凝土拱桥的抗震性能指标,研究了高轴比钢管混凝土构件的破坏过程及延性性能。以弯矩作为性能指标将高轴压比钢管混凝土构件的试验破坏过程分为轻微损伤、有限损伤与严重损伤3个阶段,结合钢管混凝土截面性能状态的数值分析,探讨了高轴压比钢管混凝土构件的破坏机理。结果表明:高轴压比钢管混凝土构件具有一定的可用延性;提出了以计算等效屈服弯矩作为抗震性能指标,适当利用延性和实现钢管混凝土拱桥的有限损伤抗震设计,并给出了与有限损伤相关的截面性能状态及参数。研究成果弥补了规范在此方面的不足,可供高烈度地震区大跨度钢管混凝土拱桥抗震设计时参考。 相似文献

为讨论利用纤维梁柱单元进行钢筋混凝土桥墩地震反应分析的建模方法,分别以4个悬臂式单柱墩和1个双柱墩拟静力加载试验,以及1个悬臂式单柱墩的振动台试验结果为依据,基于OpenSees数值分析平台建立了桥墩的地震反应分析模型。通过改变单元数量,分析了基于力的纤维梁柱单元和基于位移的纤维梁柱单元对桥墩地震反应的模拟精度。结果表明:对悬臂式单柱墩的拟静力和振动台试验,可沿墩高仅建立1个基于力的纤维梁柱单元,并在墩底串联1个考虑纵筋塑性渗透和粘结滑移的转动弹簧单元,即可获得很好的模拟结果。当采用基于位移的纤维梁柱单元时,应沿墩高至少建立2个单元,且塑性铰区至少有1个,才能保证获得较高的模拟精度。对双柱墩拟静力试验,采用基于力的纤维梁柱单元建模,沿每个墩高建立2个单元即可;以基于位移的纤维梁柱单元建模,建议沿每个墩高建立3个单元,且其中2个单元布置在塑性铰区。当数值模型可对静力滞回曲线取得很好的模拟结果后,该模型一般可对动力作用下墩顶最大位移和墩底最大剪力进行较为准确的模拟,但对墩顶残余位移的模拟精度无法保证。 相似文献

A framework for the generation of bridge-specific fragility curves utilizing the capabilities of machine learning and stripe-based approach is presented in this paper. The proposed methodology using random forests helps to generate or update fragility curves for a new set of input parameters with less computational effort and expensive resimulation. The methodology does not place any assumptions on the demand model of various components and helps to identify the relative importance of each uncertain variable in their seismic demand model. The methodology is demonstrated through the case study of a multispan concrete bridge class in California. Geometric, material, and structural uncertainties are accounted for in the generation of bridge numerical models and their fragility curves. It is also noted that the traditional lognormality assumption on the demand model leads to unrealistic fragility estimates. This paper presents the shake table test results of a novel system for the design of precast reinforced concrete bridges. The specimen comprises a slab and four precast columns. The connections are dry and the columns are connected to the slab by an ungrouted tendon. One of the tendon ends is anchored above the slab, in series with a stack of washer springs, while the other end is anchored at the bottom of the column. The addition of such a flexible restraining system increases the stability of the system, while keeping it relatively flexible allowing it to experience negative post-uplift stiffness. It is a form of seismic isolation. Anchoring the tendon within the column, caps the design moment of the foundation, and reduces its size. One hundred and eighty-one shake table tests were performed. The first 180 caused negligible damage to the specimen, mainly abrasion at the perimeter of the column top ends. Hence, the system proved resilient. The 181st excitation caused collapse, because the tendons unexpectedly failed at a load less than 50% of their capacity (provided by the manufacturer), due to the failure of their end socket. This highlights the importance of properly designing the tendons. The tests were used to statistically validate a rigid body model. The model performed reasonably well never underestimating the median displacement response of the center of mass of the slab by more than 30%. 针对传统方法进行既有铁路曲线整正测量精度低、效率低、安全性差,难以满足维修养护中大机作业要求的问题,提出了将现代测绘技术应用于既有线测量的方法。建立全线统一的三维控制网,并加大轨道控制网点位密度,有效地方便了线路中心坐标采集以及调线作业;采用了初拟合与调整、考虑调线控制关键点、进一步细化拟合与调整的平面曲线优化方法;创造性地采用非接触性测量方法,进行桥梁偏心的精确测定。所提方法应用于数条长大既有线路进行实践检验的结果表明,曲线整正测量精度明显提高,并在面对复杂曲线时也能较为快速地拟合出拔量最小的优化曲线,其在生产中切实可行,能够满足现代化既有线维修养护需要。 相似文献
